Starting of 3 weeks project... The start of losing my freedom.

Gosh. 3 weeks project have started today. My 3 weeks project is a module that is used to replace exam. Instead of having exam, I am having 3 weeks project. Sounds simple? Before you start complaining and whining that your life sucks because you have to study for exam, I will tell you I rather have exam.

3 weeks project. What is it? Officially, its a module to test what we have learn instead of having exam. But actually, some high level alien planned this crap to torture us, the future of mankind.

Those alien died and extinct because they studied too much.

Yes, they have better technology than us, but

there is no use if you study too much and damage your brain.

Not worth it. Trust me.

What happens is that we are suppose to make a flash game that would be sold comercially. And guess what? We don't get paid for that. Instead, we exchanged the cash for something call opportunity and experience. Worth it or not? I can't tell for now. I can only conclude it when the project ends. See what experiences can I gain from this project.

The project started off quite well. There are 3 things that happened. 2 things are good things. Which makes me 66% happy. Well, one of the good thing is I have changed team. YAY!!! Good friends of mine will understand how much I suffered during the last 3 weeks project. Barlog had change course. Which means left me and Mr Zee Siao. I got transfered to Justin's team. Woot. There got Yee Howe and Jessen. Both are damn pro programmer. This project surely can pass liao.

Muhahaha... Dengue cannot stop me.

2nd happy thing was this project we are doing it with the year 2 DMD(Digital Media and Design) people. You should see their proposal... Its really high level. Feels like their proposal can be used as weapon to kill barlog. While our standard of proposal can only kill slimes. Their work was really professional liao. You can see they have drawn out the screenshot of the game... Which haven been made. Some team even made video of what their game would look like when completed. Very high level.

Anyway, the happy thing was that the DMD students will setter the graphics for us. Thank god. I am sick of drawing picture with ASCII art. Damn ugly and waste time. And the DMD student had the game idea and game design ready. We just have to code for them. Should be easy. I hope... lol.

The only sad thing was the game is code using flash actionscript. We have no idea how it works. So we had a crash course this morning. Thats the bad thing. The lecturer taught too fast. I can't absorb. Now I'm still quite clueless. Hope my C++ knowledge can pull me thru this 3 weeks.
