Tokyo Game Show 2006
Nowadays really busy with school work. We are keep being force to work on our GLUT project. I feel that I don have time to breath. I am suffocating under such high pressure. I dunno why they wan to give us such high pressure... They wan use high pressure and add in some coke under high temperature to form Iron izzit ? Ta ma de.
Anyway, today's main topic is Tokyo Game Show 2006. For those who dunno wat is it, Its a mega big expo show that will show off lastest game, game console and dunno wat shit lar. In short, its cool.
NYP is so kind hearted that they plan to organise to let people from my course to go for the show. Cool. NYP is so kind hearted that they decide to subsidize for us. NYP will be paying for the fucking Coach. Cool. We students need to pay $1600 to $2000 for this trip while NYP is paying for the fucking coach which I expect is at most $200 to rent the whole fucking bus. Assuming that 20 people is going, that means school will subsidize $10 for each person. Ultra COOL. You can't find such stingy-ism at anywhere except in NYP.
Anyway, $2000 is not cheap. But its too tempting to go. I am very confuse whether to go or not.
GOOD POINTS-Its in tokyo !!! I always wanted to go japan !!!
-I never ride a plane before. This will be my 1st time... XD
-We can see lots of new game and new tech at the show. Cool
-We get to see those kawaii jap gals at the booth. *Drool*
-We get to visit some game company. This is only possible if we go with school.
-We get to go some LJ place. Forget the name. Its like Sim Lim Square in Singapore... Sort of a region with newest gadget and stuff. Some gadget are only sold there and not in rest of the world... Cool.
-Can go with homies... Should be very fun and high. Weee~~~
BAD POINTS-The cost... $2000. Holy shit. I intend to borrow from my mom and dad.
-If I borrow $2k from them I need to work 2 days per week, 4 weeks per month and suffer for 7 months until I can fully paid back my parents.
-If I keep working every week, I will ahve no time to do GLUT project. My grades will suffer and I will pull my team down too.
-Its a 6 day trip. Like bo hua leh. $2000 I can buy Ps3 and have a few months of fun instead of spending the money for 6 days of fun.
-Teddy is going. This is the worst.
-$2000 is my maximun. Meaning I go there also no $$ to buy present for frens. And I got so many frens... Not I don wan to buy... Is I no money buy.
-For SGD$50 a day, Mr Tan expect we can only afford fast food in Japan. WTF. Their standard of living too high liao. $SGD50 I can eat 5 days in Singapore liao. Even eat fast food also can eat 3 days.
-I am paying $500 for the trip 1st. I borrow $1500 from parents. This means my bank is empty liao. Sad. I got many things wan buy one... I wan 2GB mem stick. I wan buy Nintendo DS Lite. Sian. No money liao.
-If I really go, I have to work 7 months to repay my debt. Which is around Feb 2007. Until that time I don have money to buy anything, watch movie, go kbox, go out and play. Most probably stay at home or go work. Sad life.
Sian. Seems very negative leh... But I still wanna go. Japan leh. Somemore while writing this line, it seems like 3 to 4 homies are going. Kar kar dad won 4D so he can go. Wah kao. So Zhun. God ar god ar. Let my dad also tio 4D leh. I wan go Jap. If my dad really tio 4D of more than $4000 hor, I immediately go join Christian... LOL.
